MASTER PEACE NIGHT TIME

Master Peace is a singer and rapper from South West London. Growing up, he was listening to the likes of Sid Vicious, Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix, and only later became interested in the rap game. He's done a stripped-back version of his song 'Night Time' for the south London Strano Sessions, who have shot home-filmed live videos for a number underground musicians such as Cosmo Pyke and Goat Girl. This particular Strano Session is a performance video of Peace with a backing band. The performance is minimal and beautifully intimate, as is the home-shot quality of the video. Like any great pop song, 'Night Time' sounds brilliant stripped back - Peace is only accompanied by twinkly keys, a gentle guitar and two backing singers. Master Peace sings the catchy hook "I cross your mind in the night time, cos you're always in the mood then". Check out this super soulful and endearing performance now. -Ellie Rose-Davies
